SHARE SCHEME SUPPORT
Share valuations and ERS compliance.
We prepare EMI and other employee share valuations, support HMRC submissions and handle annual ERS returns. Valuation and compliance work can be scoped separately.

What founders ask.
Is the last funding-round price the option value?
Not necessarily. Different share rights, preferences, marketability and the facts at the valuation date can produce a different value.
How long is an agreed EMI valuation valid?
HMRC normally treats an agreed EMI valuation as valid for 90 days, unless a material event changes the company’s position sooner.
Do we still file an ERS return if nothing happened?
Usually yes. A registered scheme generally needs an annual return or nil return by 6 July after the tax year. We guide you through company registration and can file returns once authorised.
